This is the German style of Dulcimer with a Music Magic twist. You can play both sides of both bridges.
The layout is different to the Hammered Dulcimer. You could look at it two way.
Way 1 Each bridge has a whole tone scale on it . The right bridge is a semi-tone higher than the left, thus achieving a completely chromatic instrument.
Way 2 The instrument tuning procedes in semi-tones all the way up the instrument from the bottom to the top alternating left and right.
It has a 4 Octave range. The Lower strings are brass music wire and the higher strings are Roslau music wire.
