Harmony Dulcimer

Cost £ 550 plus £35(UK) Post and Packing

24 courses (pairs) of strings 12 pairs to each bridge. Clear and full sounding with good volume. Enhanced-standard instrument. This means that the strings to the right of the bass bridge are playable, on many instruments they are not. These notes sound 2 octaves higher than those to the left. The effect of these strings being playable is to increase the ‘sweetness’ of the instrument - there being less odd harmonics colouring the sound. This instrument is supplied in standard folk tuning but ‘chromatic’ and other tunings may be employed.
